Spanish defense minister, acting SBGS head discuss equipment supply, training, humanitarian cooperation

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles during her visit to Ukraine met with acting head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Major General Valeriy Vavryniuk to discuss equipment supply, training, and humanitarian cooperation.

"Drones play a key role in the war in Ukraine. This year alone, border guards shot down 4,000 such devices. Robles once again assured Vavryniuk of Spain’s support in the form of equipment supply, training, and humanitarian cooperation," she posted on X.

Robles is on a visit to Ukraine, where she will hold a series of meetings with officials, as reported on Wednesday.
