Syrsky talks with unit commanders in Pokrovsk direction
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky met with the leadership of the Ukrainian offensive group and units in the Pokrovsk direction during a regular working trip.
"I worked in the headquarters of units in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russia’s troops are pressing most noticeably. Since the beginning of April, a total of 688 attacks by the enemy have been recorded here. I talked with commanders of corps, military units and units. Together we analyzed the current situation in the areas of responsibility. I heard reports on the needs of Ukrainian defenders and proposals to strengthen the effectiveness of using troops and blocking the enemy’s active actions. I made certain decisions regarding additional support for our units," Syrsky posted on Telegram.
In addition, the commander-in-chief visited the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) grouping, where he discussed a number of issues with Major Robert Brovdi. When the enemy is regrouping and pulling up reserves, the role of UAVs in hitting Russia’s troops increases even more.
"With Major General Oleh Apostol, we discussed the operational situation, fulfillment of assigned tasks, and plans for further active actions," Syrsky added.
