Russia’s attacks on energy infrastructure led to power outages for some consumers in Chernihiv, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Zaporizhia regions, while bad weather on Tuesday morning fully or partially de-energized seven settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region, National Power Company (NPC) Ukrenergo has said.

"Where security conditions allow, emergency restoration work has already begun. Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore power to all subscribers as quickly as possible," the NPC stated on Telegram.

At the same time, the daily peak consumption recorded on Monday evening was 5.8% higher than the peak of the previous working day, Friday, April 17. The reason for such changes is a significant cooling across Ukraine, leading consumers to use electric heaters.

As of Tuesday morning, the consumption level remained the same as on Monday.

"The need for thrifty consumption in the evening remains. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances from 17:00 to 22:00," Ukrenergo urged.

As reported, no scheduled power consumption restrictions are planned for Tuesday.
