Explosion injures 8 at enterprise near Rivne – police

Eight people were injured in an explosion at an enterprise near the city of Rivne, with one in serious condition, the Rivne Regional Police reported on Facebook on Monday.

"On April 20, at approximately 13:00, an explosion followed by a fire occurred on the territory of an enterprise whose activities are not related to chemical production. The fire has been localized. Emergency services and the leadership of law enforcement agencies are working at the scene. The circumstances are being established," the report said.

The name and exact location of the enterprise have not been disclosed.
