Nearly 8,000 residents of the Zaporizhia region will receive compensation for destroyed and damaged property under the eRecovery state program, head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov has announced.

"Compensation for damaged property has been approved for over 6.7 thousand applicants for a total amount of UAH 561 million. Compensation for destroyed property totaling UAH 1.6 billion will be received by nearly 1,200 residents of the region," Fedorov wrote on Telegram on Monday.

According to him, the Registry of Damaged and Destroyed Property contains information on more than 18,000 houses in the Zaporizhia region damaged as a result of Russian attacks.

As reported, as of the morning of April 10, some 188,085 Ukrainian families received compensation for damaged and destroyed housing under the eRecovery state program for a total of UAH 82.2 billion. Of this, over 136.4 thousand families received UAH 13.2 billion for damaged housing. Additionally, more than 50.5 thousand families received housing certificates totalling UAH 67.8 billion to purchase property instead of that which was completely destroyed.

Payments for reconstruction on personal plots, which started in early 2025, are also ongoing. First tranche funds were received by 767 families for a total of UAH 917 million, and 267 families have already received second tranche funds totalling UAH 326.2 million.
