Woman injured, fires break out in Zaporizhia following Russia's combined shelling - SES

A 40-year-old woman was injured and residential buildings caught fire as a result of combined shelling of the regional centre by Russian troops, reports the press service of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine.

"According to preliminary data, a 40-year-old woman sustained injuries. She was provided with all necessary medical assistance. The number of victims is being clarified," the SES statement, published on Facebook, reads.

According to the agency, the shelling caused fires in residential buildings and a garage, as well as several spots of dry grass fires at various locations; the fires have since been extinguished, and emergency rescue operations have been completed.
