Energy facility damaged in Chernihiv region attack, 380,000 subscribers de-energized - Oblenergo

On the night of April 18, as a result of an enemy attack, an important energy facility was damaged in the Nizhyn district of the Chernihiv region, reports the press service of JSC Chernihivoblenergo.

According to the company, the incident occurred around 4:00 AM, leading to large-scale power outages for consumers.

"380,000 subscribers in the cities of Chernihiv, Pryluky, Nizhyn, Slavutych, and in the Chernihiv, Nizhyn, and Pryluky districts have been de-energized," the press service’s Telegram channel message reads.

According to the agency, power engineers are currently working to restore the electricity supply.
