Russian attack puts 30 Kyiv residents in hospitals – official

Thirty of the 60 Kyiv residents injured in a Russian attack on Thursday night are currently hospitalized, reported Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

"Russia took the lives of four Kyiv residents, including a 12-year-old child… 60 Kyiv residents sustained injuries, including four children. Currently, 30 people are hospitalized in medical facilities where they are receiving treatment," Tkachenko wrote on Telegram.

He reported that 13 locations in four districts of Kyiv suffered from the shelling. The Podilsky and Obolonsky districts were hit the hardest. "There, warehouse buildings burned over a large area, and residential buildings and apartments of peaceful residents were mangled," Tkachenko said.

Earlier, he reported that 17 multi-story buildings, 10 private houses, a hotel, an office center, a car dealership, a gas station, and a shopping and entertainment center were damaged in the capital.
