URCS participates in cleanup of Russian air attack on Kyiv

A team from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) participated in the cleanup of the consequences of a massive Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv overnight.

"Tonight, the rapid response unit of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, together with other special services, worked in one of the capital's districts affected by the night strike. Volunteers conducted rounds of damaged residential buildings to promptly identify victims and provide them with necessary assistance," the URCS said on Facebook on Thursday.

As reported, a combined attack by Russia on Kyiv resulted in four deaths, including a 12-year-old child. At least 54 people were injured, among them three police officers, four medics, and two foreigners. The Podilsky and Obolonsky districts of the capital suffered the greatest destruction. In the capital, 17 multi-story buildings, 10 private houses, a hotel, an office center, a car dealership, a gas station, and a shopping and entertainment center were also damaged.
