212 engagements recorded on front over past day, 42 battles on Pokrovsk axis
212 combat engagements took place on the front during Tuesday, with the highest activity on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka axes, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
"The defense forces are repelling occupiers’ attempts to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment. In total, 212 combat engagements were recorded over the past day," the statement said.
On the northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, the enemy carried out 70 attacks on Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas over the past day, nine of them using multiple launch systems. Six assault actions by the enemy were recorded.
On the southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy made nine attempts to break through Ukrainian defensive positions near Vovchansk, Starytsia and Lyman.
On the Kupyansk axis, the aggressor attacked ten times toward Kurylvka, Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi, Nova Kruhlякivka, Zahryzove, Bohuslavka and Novoplatonivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy made 12 attempts to break into Ukrainian defenses, attacking toward Novoserхіivka, Lyman, Drobysheve and Dibrova.
On the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped four attempts by occupiers to advance toward Zakitne, Ozerne and Riznykivka over the past day.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy attacked four times near Chasiv Yar, Fedorivka Druha, Bondarne and Markove.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy launched 31 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Berestok, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Yablunivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka and Sofiivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 42 assault actions by the aggressor near Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Muravka, Molodetske and toward Dorozhnie and Serhiivka.
On the Oleksandrivsk axis, according to updated information, the enemy attacked 11 times near Oleksandrograd, Vorone, Verbove, Novohryhorivka, Kalynivske and Zlahoda.
On the Huliaipole axis, occupiers launched 13 attacks near Myrne, Huliaipole and toward Hirke, Dobropillia and Zaliznychne.
On the Prydniprovske axis, the enemy carried out four unsuccessful assault actions toward Antonivka bridge.
