Injured in Russian strike on Cherkasy rises to 14 – service

The number of people injured in a Russian drone attack on Cherkasy has risen to 14, Ukraine's State Emergency Service said.

"Cherkasy: as a result of the evening attack on the city, an eight-year-old boy was killed. Another 14 people were injured, including one child. According to preliminary information, at least four apartment buildings were damaged by falling debris. Rescuers evacuated six people," the service said on Telegram.

According to the Emergency Service, bomb disposal teams inspected the area, while rescue units dismantled unsafe building structures.

Psychologists are providing assistance to residents.
