Sybiha: Ukraine, Germany to launch regular security, defense consultations
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said after intergovernmental consultations between Ukraine and Germany that the two countries would launch regular consultations on security and defense policy between their foreign and defense ministries, and also backed the creation of an Industrial Ramstein format.
"We... also agreed to launch regular consultations on security and defense policy between our foreign and defense ministries, and welcomed the establishment of the Industrial Ramstein format — an important step in deepening industrial cooperation," he said on X on Tuesday.
Sybiha said the joint declaration reflects the strategic level of the partnership, recognizing Germany's leadership in supporting Ukraine and the full potential of bilateral relations. For Germany, Ukraine is a promising economic, energy and defense partner.
