Ukraine-linked Quantum Systems and Destinus to integrate reconnaissance and strike systems
German defense company Quantum Systems and Netherlands-based Destinus, both closely linked to Ukraine, agreed on a strategic partnership to integrate reconnaissance and strike systems into a single operational architecture.
According to a release from the companies, within the partnership, the Mosaic Uxs platform and Quantum Systems reconnaissance systems will be connected to Destinus platforms in one shared workflow, which should ensure faster interaction processes in complex environments.
It is noted that data collected by reconnaissance platforms will be processed and distributed via Mosaic Uxs, making it available for Destinus strike systems. Additionally, this architecture is compatible with existing NATO command systems and national analogues.
Founded in 2015, Quantum Systems is a European company specializing in the development of unmanned systems. It supplies ISR systems, autonomous platforms, and integrated missions to military, government, and commercial customers.
As reported, Quantum Systems together with Ukrainian Frontline Robotics launched the first European joint venture, Quantum Frontline Industries, in Germany to manufacture drones under the Build with Ukraine program.
Destinus designs and manufactures strike and air defense systems in Europe for European and allied forces, as well as cruise missiles, loitering munitions, and kinetic interceptors. Senior Vice President of Destinus is former Minister of Finance and former Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk. The company has a subsidiary, Destinus Ukraine LLC, in Ukraine.
On April 13, 2026, Destinus reported the creation of a joint venture, Rheinmetall Destinus Strike Systems, together with German arms concern Rheinmetall during the second half of 2026.
