Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said more than 25 kilometers of anti-drone protection is being built on two strategically important routes in Donetsk region.

In a Telegram post, the minister said the State Special Transport Service, acting on the Defense Ministry’s instructions, is continuing to deploy anti-drone protection in frontline regions.

"The enemy is actively using FPV drones to attack transport and civilian vehicles. That is why we are strengthening security and deploying anti-drone structures on key routes. We are now building more than 25 kilometers of anti-drone protection on two strategically important routes in Donetsk region. We are working at a pace of about 1 km per day. By the end of the month, we plan to fully cover these sections," Fedorov said.

He said that protecting logistics routes in frontline regions is a systematic effort. Since the start of the year, 371 kilometers of anti-drone structures have already been installed in seven regions: Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson.

"Anti-drone nets increase the safety of military movement and ensure the stable functioning of frontline communities. Protected logistics and saved lives are our priority," the minister said.
