Zelenskyy: Russia increasing its grouping by involving personnel from strategic reserve

The Defense Forces destroy the same number of Russians in a month as they mobilize, but the size of the Russian grouping is growing because Russia is increasing its forces by involving personnel from its strategic reserve, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

"In general, we see an interesting situation: in a month we destroy the same number of Russians that they mobilize, but at the same time the size of their grouping on the territory of Ukraine is growing. That is, we believe that they are increasing their grouping by involving servicemen from the strategic reserve," Zelenskyy said at a meeting with journalists.

He noted that this is a risky step for Russia, as such actions weaken its borders with other states, "and the situation there for them is not simple."

The President also reported that the enemy wants to seize Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk by the end of April.

"This is impossible, but it is not the first time they have determined a deadline and now they have set such a benchmark. I have already mentioned the meeting with British intelligence – we have a relationship of trust with them. They also see no possibility for the Russians to do this," he emphasized.
