President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the current situation in the Middle East, saying Ukraine is contributing to regional security and preparing a second wave of security agreements with countries in the region.

"We see how difficult it is to stabilize the situation in the Middle East… There will be a lot more political and diplomatic activity around Iran. But we hope there will be fewer military actions. This matters for everyone in the world because of market destabilization. Oil prices are now falling, and it is important not to break this trend. The world wants stability, and nations want security," he said in a video address.

The president said he had heard a report from National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov on new security arrangements with Middle Eastern countries.

"There was a report from the NSDC secretary – he continues to work with countries neighboring Iran, and there will be more of our Ukrainian security agreements: new draft deals have already been prepared. I have scheduled a meeting for Monday on the second wave of these agreements. Ukraine is making its contribution to security, and in return our partners will make their contribution to strengthening Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.
