RF shelling kills resident of Zaporizhzhia suburb, four more wounded
A man was killed in a massive Russian shelling of a settlement in Zaporizhia district on the outskirts, with four more people wounded, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said on its Telegram channel.
"Firefighters from the local fire service rescued a woman from under the rubble; she was hospitalised at a stabilisation point," the statement read.
The name of the settlement and the condition of the casualties were not reported.
"As a result of the shelling, a residential building was partially destroyed at one address and caught fire. Rescuers extinguished the blaze. At other addresses, two residential buildings were destroyed and another 10 nearby homes were damaged by the blast wave. All emergency services are working on site," the agency said.
