Russia strikes bus in Nikopol district for second time today, 5 injured – official
Five people were injured as a result of a second strike today by Russia on a regular bus in Nikopol district, reported head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak on Tuesday.
"In the Chervonohryhorivka community, a minibus serving an intercity route was damaged. A woman and four men were injured. Medics are providing the victims with all necessary assistance," Lysak wrote on Telegram.
As reported, the death toll from a Russian drone strike on a shuttle bus in Nikopol itself reached four. There are 16 victims, eight of whom are hospitalized; three are in serious condition, and the rest are in moderate condition with mine-blast injuries, acoustic trauma, shrapnel wounds, and fractures.
Earlier it was reported that on Saturday, April 4, at around 9:50, Russia launched a UAV strike on a market in the city of Nikopol, killing five people and injuring 21 others, including a 14-year-old girl. A second strike on the market injured two more men. Trading premises were also damaged.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the fact of a war crime (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Mourning was declared in the city.
On Sunday morning, Russia attacked a civilian car in Nikopol. A man was killed, and a 60-year-old woman is in serious condition.
