Russians attack administrative buildings in Chernihiv region, preliminary casualties reported - official

Occupiers attacked the cities of Pryluky and Novhorod-Siversky with drones, causing fires in administrative buildings, Chernihiv regional military administration head Vyacheslav Chaus said.

"This morning the aggressor attacked administrative buildings in Novhorod-Siversky and Pryluky. Fires broke out at the strike sites. Rescuers and all necessary services are deployed and working. Preliminarily, there are wounded - information on casualties is being clarified," RMA’s Telegram post reads.

Novhorod-Siversky district military administration head Oleksandr Seliverstov said the attack set fire to the state tax administration building.

"At around 9:30 a.m., an enemy UAV (type currently being determined) struck the center of Novhorod-Siversky. The hit landed on the state tax inspectorate building. The blast wave damaged the facades of nearby residential buildings and private vehicles. As of this moment, information on casualties is being clarified," he wrote on Facebook.

According to him, emergency services and law enforcement are working at the scene.

A strike and fire at the Pryluky city council building were reported earlier.
