DOT simplifies vehicle procurement for Defense Forces – Svyrydenko
The State Rear Operator (DOT) will simplify the procurement of pickup trucks and other vehicles for the military using decentralized budgets, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said.
"The government has granted DOT the status of a centralized procurement organization. This means the agency will work directly with suppliers, set the requirements and verify them. The decision will make it easier to procure pickup trucks needed by units, as well as motorcycles, quad bikes and buggies. All of this will be available in ProZorro Market," Svyrydenko said on Telegram.
She said military units will no longer have to go through complicated procedures on their own. It will be enough to select the required vehicles from the catalog, and the system will offer verified suppliers.
"This will speed up procurement and reduce risks. The list of goods is to be expanded further," the prime minister added.
