The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Charitable Organization "Serhiy Prytula Humanitarian Foundation" signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation to support the education system under martial law, overcome the consequences of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, and implement joint initiatives.

"Today, education is part of our resilience and future. We face specific challenges every day that require quick solutions. It is often the civil sector that possesses the flexibility and speed that the state lacks in certain situations. Therefore, our task is to combine these capabilities and act together where it yields the fastest results for education," the press service quoted Minister of Education Oksen Lisovy as saying.

It is noted that the cooperation between the parties will focus on developing educational projects, supporting educational institutions, and coordinating efforts with partners and charitable organizations.

According to Maryna Petrychenko, head of the Serhiy Prytula Humanitarian Foundation, the Foundation has supported nearly 70 educational institutions since 2022, allocating over 40 million hryvnias.

As reported, in June 2025, the Ministry of Education and the Charitable Foundation of writer and public figure Serhiy Zhadan signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of developing extracurricular education and promoting the cultural development of participants in the educational process.
