Russians strike market in Nikopol: 5 killed, 23 injured

Russian occupiers struck a market in the city of Nikopol with a UAV at around 09:50 on Saturday, April 4, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) said.

"Five people were killed and another 21 were injured, including a 14-year-old girl. In addition, as a result of a repeated Russian strike on the same civilian site, two more men were injured," the PGO said in a statement on Telegram.

The strike also damaged retail premises.

Prosecutors and law enforcement officers are working at the scene. Under the procedural supervision of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, criminal proceedings have been launched over a war crime (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
