Russian drones strike civilian infrastructure in Odesa region, fires break out
The Russian army again struck the civilian infrastructure of Odesa region with drones on Thursday morning, causing fires and damage, Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper has said.
"This morning, Odesa region again came under attack by Russian UAVs targeting civilian infrastructure. Residential buildings and the port territory were hit. There were no casualties," he wrote on Telegram.
According to Kiper, containers and four cars caught fire in the port area, and two hangars were damaged. In the residential sector, the facade, roof, and glazing of a private house were damaged, and an unfinished building was destroyed. A balcony and a gas pipe in a high-rise building also caught fire.
The fires were extinguished by rescuers. Emergency and utility services are working at the scenes. Documentation of the consequences and their elimination is ongoing.
