Defense Minister: Ukraine awards double points for killing Russian drone pilots compared with infantry
Defense Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said a new points system had been introduced under which eliminating one drone pilot earns twice as many points as eliminating an ordinary infantryman.
"We are destroying Russian UAV operators before they even manage to attack. Enemy pilots no longer feel safe – this is one of the priority targets in the Army of Drones.Bonus system. Eliminating one pilot earns x2 points compared with an ordinary infantryman," he said on Telegram on Wednesday.
"Our goal is to reduce the life cycle of an enemy pilot on the battlefield as much as possible. To achieve this, Ukraine has already started creating separate units that hunt Russian pilots," he said.
The minister's post was accompanied by a corresponding video showing what he described as a unique operation by CSO Alfa fighters, who destroyed the enemy preemptively.
