Ireland announces EUR 40 mln for humanitarian aid to Ukraine
Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defense of Ireland Helen McEntee announced the allocation of an additional EUR 40 million for humanitarian aid to Ukraine during her first visit to Kyiv.
"I am pleased to announce the allocation of an additional EUR 40 million for humanitarian aid and stabilization support in Ukraine," she said at a press conference with Ukrainian colleague Andriy Sybiha on Wednesday.
As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the total volume of Irish humanitarian aid and support this year will amount to EUR 65 million.
"And this is the highest figure since the beginning of this Russia," the minister added.
