Cabinet to include Kharkiv region in SvitloDim program soon – Svyrydenko
Kharkiv and Kharkiv region will soon be connected to the SvitloDim state program, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko announced.
"I promise you that by the next ‘Hour of Questions to the Government,’ we will present and vote on the relevant resolution at the Cabinet of Ministers," she said during the "Hour of Questions to the Government" in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday.
In turn, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Kuleba noted that the delay in connection was due to certain bureaucratic issues.
"We will now accelerate as much as possible and do everything so that Kharkiv region receives the relevant program as quickly as possible," Kuleba said.
As reported, the government’s SvitloDim program launched on January 28, providing support for apartment buildings to install autonomous power sources. This makes it possible to ensure light, water, heat, communication, and elevator operation during outages. At the first stage, the program operates in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
