Zelenskyy: Teams from Ukraine and Middle East already preparing first agreements
Ukraine has offered Middle Eastern and Gulf countries long-term cooperation to protect their airspace, and teams have already prepared the first agreements, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced.
"Currently, Ukraine has proposed long-term cooperation to countries in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf aimed at protecting their airspace. They possess significant financial resources and experience in combating ballistic threats, but they need our expertise in countering unmanned aerial vehicles," Zelenskyy said during his speech at the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) leaders’ summit on Thursday.
According to the President, this applies to all types of UAVs, including Shaheds and FPV drones.
"Our teams have already prepared the first agreements. Ukraine has the world’s most extensive experience in drone utilization. We offer Middle Eastern and Persian Gulf countries a partnership that will benefit both sides: our knowledge and technology in exchange for their financing," he emphasized.
