Parking fines now displayed online – Interior Minister
Resolutions from parking inspectors and their payment status are now displayed in the electronic driver’s account and in the Diia application, Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko has said.
Writing on Telegram on Wednesday, the minister noted that previously, digital services only displayed fines for traffic violations recorded in automatic mode or issued by patrol officers. Because of this, according to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, drivers did not always receive timely information about parking inspectors’ resolutions and could miss payment deadlines.
"We have fixed this. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with representatives of territorial hromadas and specialists from State Enterprise Infotech, conducted the necessary technical improvements and service settings to ensure timely and correct data display," the minister emphasized.
He specified that the service is already operational in Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Lviv, Dnipro, Drohobych, Bila Tserkva, and Vinnytsia.
"Next – more cities. We continue the digitalization of Ministry of Internal Affairs services so that every citizen has convenient, transparent, fast, and secure access to state services," Klymenko concluded.
