Kamin-Kashyrsky lyceum fires speech therapist for immoral misconduct following scandal
Kamin-Kashyrskyi Lyceum No. 1 named after Yevhen Shabliovsky in Volyn region has dismissed a speech therapist for committing an immoral act following a public scandal, Education Ombudsman Nadiya Leshchyk reports.
"Regarding the situation with the behavior of the speech therapist at Kamin-Kashyrsky Lyceum No. 1. I kept this situation under control, communicated extensively with the humanitarian policy department, and provided consultations. The educational institution informed me that the speech therapist was dismissed on March 16, 2026, on the basis of paragraph 3 of Article 41 of the Labor Code of Ukraine, in connection with the commission of an immoral offense incompatible with continued work at an educational institution," Leshchyk writes on Wednesday in comments to her previous post regarding the situation.
As reported, the regional television and radio company Avers (Lutsk, Volyn region) previously published a story about a scandal at the lyceum during which the speech therapist used profanity, shouted, and behaved aggressively on the school premises. Following this, Education Ombudsman Nadiya Leshchyk stated that the teacher’s behavior was unacceptable.
