Kim Jong Un re-elected President of State Affairs of DPRK - media
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been re-elected to the post of President of State Affairs of the DPRK during the first session of the 15th Supreme People’s Assembly (SPA) opened in Pyongyang, Yonhap reports with reference to North Korean state media.
"Kim Jong Un was re-elected as President of State Affairs of the DPRK on the first day of the first session of the 15th SPA of the DPRK," the report says.
Yonhap notes that during the session, Jo Yong Won, known as one of Kim Jong Un’s closest associates, was elected to the position of chairman of the SPA Standing Committee, replacing Choe Ryong Hae.
