Ukraine preparing to step up operation of its missions in Latin America – Zelenskyy

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has heard a report from Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha on the implementation of special tasks in Latin America; preparations are underway to intensify the activities of Ukrainian missions in the region.

“The Minister held meetings with the President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile, as well as with representatives of more than ten other countries in the region. It is important that we are preparing to step up the work of our missions in Latin America and to cooperate with the region on international platforms,” Zelenskyy said on X Thursday.

In addition, Sybiha reported to the President on communications with representatives of key European partners on security and political issues of importance to Ukraine.

“Everyone agrees that Ukraine can be a real partner in ensuring security,” Zelenskyy noted.

He and the Foreign Minister also discussed preparations for diplomatic events in Ukraine in the coming weeks.
