Chief of Defense Intelligence visits Kraken special unit
Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense (HUR MO) of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleh Ivashchenko, made a working trip to the Kraken special unit.
According to the HUR press service, during the trip, the head of military intelligence reviewed the state of personnel training for combat missions, visited the unit’s location, and spoke with its fighters.
In conversation with Kraken command, Ivashchenko discussed current needs for providing for the unit’s fighters and ways to increase the effectiveness of combat missions.
Special attention was paid to the high-quality organization of the training process for intelligence officers to increase their readiness for active operations.
"I see a motivated, trained unit that clearly understands its tasks. You demonstrate a high level of coordination and readiness to act in the most difficult conditions. Continue to keep the pace and feel the shoulder of your brother-in-arms — this is the key to success in battle," Ivashchenko said.
"Units of the Active Actions Department of the HUR MO of Ukraine daily demonstrate their high readiness on the battlefield – with a result well known to Russia," the message notes.
