JYSK opens 2 renovated stores in Ukrainian cities of Cherkasy, Chernivtsi

The international JYSK retail chain in Ukraine on Thursday reopened two stores after renovation at the DEPO't shopping mall in Cherkasy and the Maidan shopping center in Chernivtsi, the company's press service reported.

"The renovation of stores in Cherkasy and Chernivtsi is another step in the development of our network in Ukraine. And I sincerely thank our teams who make this possible every day," Country Director of JYSK in Ukraine Yevhen Ivanytsia was quoted as saying in the press release.

According to him, the company is already working on new projects: a new lease agreement was recently signed for a future store in Myrhorod (Poltava region), and a new store will open in Tatariv next week.

Currently, 113 JYSK stores operate in 38 cities across Ukraine along with the online store jysk.ua, and the retailer employs nearly 1,000 people in the country.

According to the YouControl analytical system, the revenue of JYSK Ukraine LLC in January–September 2025 increased by 24% compared with the same period of 2024 to UAH 5.3 billion, while net profit grew by 22% to UAH 959 million.

JYSK is part of the family-owned Lars Larsen Group, which operates more than 3,500 stores in 50 countries. JYSK's revenue in the 2024/2025 financial year amounted to EUR 6.2 billion.
