Russia attacks port infrastructure in Odesa region with drones, damages food warehouse
The enemy launched an attack on port infrastructure in the Odesa region using strike drones, resulting in damage to a food warehouse, reported Oleh Kiper, head of the Regional Military Administration.
"As a result of the attack, a food warehouse on the territory of the port was damaged. A fire broke out, which was promptly liquidated by our rescuers. Fortunately, there are no fatalities or injuries. All relevant services are involved in eliminating the consequences," stated the message published on his Telegram channel on Friday morning.
This strike follows a series of recent attacks on the region’s logistics, including a massive drone strike on March 7 that damaged a grain warehouse and set vegetable oil tanks on fire. Local authorities continue to document the damage as the port operates under heightened security conditions.
