Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced the transfer of a new batch of aid from the capital’s community to defenders on the frontline, consisting of over 3,000 drones and 20 robotic systems.
"Nearly 3,100 UAVs of various types have been sent to the soldiers of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment of the AFU. Specifically, this includes 3,000 FPV drones, 90 Matrice drones, and 5 ‘Leleka’ UAVs. We also sent 20 ground robotic complexes (GRCs) to the military," Klitschko wrote on Telegram on Thursday.
According to the mayor, the city has allocated UAH 100 million from the municipal budget since the beginning of the year to provide the 225th Regiment with "necessary equipment."
"As a reminder, last week Kyiv transferred 1,300 UAVs of various types to the fighters of the 5th Separate Assault Kyiv Brigade. The capital will continue to support all our defenders!" Klitschko added.
