Ukraine prepares energy sustainability plans for next year - Zelenskyy at meeting with Bundestag President

Ukraine has prepared energy sustainability plans for next year and is addressing this issue at the Energy Ramstein meetings, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced during a meeting with German Bundestag President Julia Klöckner.

"We've already prepared energy sustainability plans for the next year. And we've already begun working on them at the 'energy Ramstein' meetings," Zelenskyy said on Wednesday.

The President also noted that Ukraine is counting on continued energy support from Germany.

He and Klöckner also discussed Ukraine's European integration.

In turn, the Bundestag President noted that while the world is looking at Iran, Germany is not forgetting Ukraine.

"We also know that Germany and other European countries are also in Russia's sights," she said.

Klöckner recalled that Germany has provided the greatest support to Ukraine to date, both financially and humanitarianly.

She also noted Ukraine's progress in reforms.

"And here I want to encourage you to continue to pursue reforms, for example in the area of ​​anti-corruption efforts," Klöckner said.

She also noted that Ukraine already occupies a very important place in European architecture.

"If Putin wanted to achieve anything, he achieved it by strengthening Ukraine within the European context," she emphasized.
