National Police, SBU expose Iranian general who organized transfer of Shahed production technologies to Russia

The National Police of Ukraine, in cooperation with the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), have exposed a scheme for supplying Russia with strike drones and transferring production technologies, identifying a key coordinator of this cooperation — Brigadier General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Abdolla Mehrabi.

A report on the National Police website on Tuesday notes that over 13,000 Shahed strike drones, used by Russia to attack Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure, were manufactured at a Russian plant using Iranian technologies transferred under a secret agreement between Russia and the military leadership of Iran.

"Investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, operatives of the Strategic Investigations Department in Kyiv, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, have exposed a scheme for the supply of strike drones to Russia, the transfer of their production technologies, and the training of Russian military personnel. Law enforcement officers also established the key coordinator of this cooperation — Brigadier General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Abdolla Mehrabi," the National Police statement reads.
