Defense Forces continue clearing operations at Dnipropetrovsk-Zaporizhia border – DeepState

Ukraine's Defense Forces continue operations along the sector from the village of Ternove in Zaitseve rural territorial community of Synelnykove district in Dnipropetrovsk region to the village of Solodke in Huliaipole city community of Polohy district in Zaporizhia region, the OSINT project DeepState reported.

"Ukrainian fighters continue operations along the stretch from Ternove to Solodke. In particular, active fighting continues for the village of Berezove. In other areas, search-and-strike operations are being carried out against enemy infantry and equipment that reinforces the infantry or provides logistics, including in the rear," the project said on its Telegram channel.

Project analysts said that, according to fighters operating in this sector, there is a large amount of enemy infantry attempting to infiltrate deeper into the territory.

"The Air Assault Forces are taking part in the clearing operations. Fighters emphasize the effectiveness of the involvement of this branch of the military, which has built a clearer and more productive process of work and planning, particularly coordination with assault units jointly conducting the clearing operations," the analysts said.

Sources noted that these improvements became noticeable after the removal of Valentyn Manko from command of the assault troops, as he had caused distrust, perceptions of unprofessionalism, and hostility among many fighters and commanders.

However, the situation near the city of Huliaipole in Polohy district of Zaporizhia region is not successful. "The enemy has practically occupied the city, is bringing in a large number of infantry, redeploying additional forces and actively operating deeper in the territory, particularly in the areas of Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka and Sviatopetrivka," the analysts said.
