Defense Intelligence units, Ukrainian Defense Forces halt Russian offensive on Zaporizhia
Main Intelligence Agency units in coordination with Ukrainian Defense Forces halted the enemy offensive on Zaporizhia in their area of responsibility, the Agency’s press service reported.
"For three months, warriors of the Defense Intelligence’s ‘Special Unit Timur’ have been implementing a comprehensive defensive operation in the Zaporizhia direction. The intelligence officers’ goal is to disrupt the enemy’s offensive plans and prevent its advance to the regional center. During active operations, special forces killed or wounded more than 300 occupiers and took 39 Russian servicemen prisoner," the Telegram channel statement said.
In addition, through precision drone and artillery strikes, military intelligence officers are systematically limiting Russian logistics capabilities - due to lack of supplies, occupiers are increasingly refusing assault operations in the direction.
The special forces’ actions stabilized the defense at positions favorable to Ukrainian defenders and secured Zaporizhia.
The operation is conducted by units Khymera, RDK, Bratstvo, Aratta, Siberian Battalion, Stuhna, First Line, 1514, Paragon, BDK, Guardians of Darkness, Raven group, Art Division and the 6th Special Operations Detachment, which are part of the Defense Intelligence’s "Special Unit Timur."
