Oschadbank will protect interests of bank and its employees in international institutions – management board chairman
Oschadbank will protect its interests and the interests of its employees in all international institutions; lawyers are already working in Hungary, and bank management representatives are on their way to Budapest, stated Yuriy Katsion, Chairman of the Management Board of the state financial institution.
"The rhetoric of statements from the Hungarian side, which groundlessly questions the source of origin of the state bank’s funds being transported in accordance with international agreements and possessing all necessary documentary confirmation, will receive a separate legal assessment," he wrote on Facebook.
Katsion added that the fact that there has still been no contact with the bank employees detained in Hungary—neither by their relatives, Ukrainian diplomats, nor the employer—is shameful.
"First—people. Then—material values, reputation, legal processes. Oschad has extensive experience in international courts. We know how to defend the interests of the bank and the state," Larysa Shustenko, advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board, commented on the situation.
