Over 500 participants in URCS 'Reboot' program receive grant support
More than 500 participants in the Ukrainian Red Cross Society's "Reboot" program received grant support last year.
"In 2025, the 'Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities' program implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) provided grant support to 535 participants," the communications and marketing department of the National Committee of URCS told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
Program participants from ten regions received grants for microbusiness development, with the largest numbers in Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, Lviv and Vinnytsia regions. Among the grants awarded, initiatives in goods production, services and repairs predominated — 114 grants — as well as beauty salons and hairdressers. A significant share comprised small food service establishments such as coffee shops and mini-bakeries, and various production formats including cheese dairies, and beekeeping operations. Grant funds were directed toward purchasing equipment for business development, ranging from sewing and welding machines to bakery equipment, agricultural tools, beekeeping supplies and greenhouse farming equipment. The total value of the financial assistance amounted to UAH 65,805,000.
Microgrant support is one of the tracks of the "Reboot" program, which provides financial assistance to people from vulnerable population groups to help them realize entrepreneurial ideas.
