Govt creates Coordination Center for implementation of Sustainability Plans for Ukraine’s regions – PM
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has created a Coordination Center for the implementation of the country's Regional Resilience Plans, announced Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
"The Coordination Center's main tasks are to coordinate the actions of all relevant central and local government bodies to ensure the timely and proper implementation of regional resilience plans in accordance with key areas: engineering and technical protection of energy facilities; development of distributed generation; ensuring uninterrupted heat supply; and uninterrupted water supply and sanitation," she wrote on Telegram.
The Coordination Center included representatives of relevant ministries and central executive bodies, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada, the President’s Office, heads of regional military administrations and state-owned companies, in particular NPC Ukrenergo, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, and JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.
According to the Prime Minister, the first meeting of the Coordination Center is planned to be held this week.
