Zelenskyy, King of Bahrain discuss countering Iranian missile, drone strikes
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a conversation with King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, during which they discussed, among other things, countering Iranian missile and drone strikes.
"I spoke with the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Majesty described the situation in Bahrain and the region in general. There are various challenges, including those caused by Iranian ballistic missile and drone strikes. Like Bahrain, Ukraine did not want to experience this, but we understand very well what constant missile and drone attacks are and how to counter them. We discussed how we can work together in this direction and agreed that our teams will remain in contact. There must be greater protection of life both in the Middle East and in Europe," Zelenskyy said on his Telegram channel.
