A community center of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is operating in Zaporizhia.

"The community center is a safe, inclusive and accessible space created to provide social support to those who need it, as well as to foster community development through educational and awareness programs. The center operates on a single-window principle, combining various services in one location so that people can receive assistance quickly and efficiently," the URCS reported on Facebook on Wednesday.

At the center, visitors can receive social consultations to help address everyday issues and obtain information about resources available in the community.

Among the services offered are psychological assistance and psychosocial support aimed at strengthening mental health and overcoming stressful situations, particularly for individuals who have experienced crisis events.

Visitors can also gain first aid knowledge, receive information about mine risks, and join activities involving various social groups to enhance safety and awareness.

A dedicated space for young people operates within the center, where they can study, participate in events and meetings, and explore new opportunities for personal development and social interaction.

In addition, specialists from mobile rehabilitation teams work at the center, and a rehabilitation space is available where support is provided to people who need to restore lost motor functions and improve physical activity and emotional well-being following illnesses, injuries, wounds, or the impact of war.
