Ukrainian, Kuwaiti FMs discuss security situation in Middle East

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha held a conversation with Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Sabah regarding the security situation in the Middle East.

"My colleague informed me about the current developments. Ukraine condemns Iran’s unjustified attacks against countries in the region and stands in solidarity with Kuwait and its people. For Ukraine, this threat is not abstract. We face daily missile and drone attacks, including Iranian-made Shahed drones used by Russia against our cities and civilians. Over the past years, we have developed unique and advanced expertise in countering such aerial threats and stand ready to share this experience with our partners," Sybiha said on X.

He thanked Kuwait for its consistent support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.

"We also agreed to continue strengthening our cooperation. I invited my Kuwaiti counterpart to visit Ukraine," Sybiha said.
