Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha reported holding a phone conversation with Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi, during which they agreed to intensify political dialogue and maintain close coordination, including further high-level contacts.

"I had a good call with my colleague from Jordan, Ayman Safadi, on the situation in the Middle East. Ukraine condemns Iran’s reckless attacks against countries in the region, which primarily harm civilians and risk further destabilization. We stand in solidarity with Jordan and other countries affected by these actions," Sybiha said on X on Tuesday.

He also thanked Jordan for its consistent support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for voting in favor of the UN General Assembly resolution "Advancing a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in Ukraine."

"This principled position is highly valued," the foreign minister said.

The sides agreed on further steps and maintaining contacts.

"We agreed to intensify our political dialogue and maintain close coordination, including further high-level contacts and cooperation on the international stage. We all seek lasting peace and security – in Ukraine and in the Middle East," Sybiha said.
