Zelenskyy: No signs of general mobilization in Russia; Ukraine would know as it would be major challenge

There are currently no signs of a general mobilization in Russia, and Ukraine would know about it because it would be a serious challenge, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

"There are no signs of mobilization. If there were a general mobilization, I'm sure we would all know about it, because it would be a serious challenge, at least for us. I think it would also be a challenge inside the Russians, but nevertheless we did not have such information," Zelenskyy told journalists on Monday.

The president said Ukraine had obtained documents on Russian plans for 2026-2027. He said Russia had not achieved its goals for 2025, and that the occupation of eastern Ukraine remains a relevant direction for the enemy.

In addition, Zelenskyy said the Russians want to continue operations in the direction of Zaporizhia region and the Dnipro, and that, although it is difficult for them, they are also looking at Odesa region.
