The exhibition "Treasures of Ukrainian Museums" has opened in central Paris, France. The project is part of the artistic program of Ukraine's season in France, "Voyage to Ukraine," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

"While Russia continues to destroy Ukrainian cultural heritage, projects like these help international audiences learn more about Ukraine's contribution to world art and the cultural heritage of humanity, and draw attention to the need to protect this heritage," the message reads.

As noted, the co-organizers were the Paris City Hall Ville de Paris.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see masterpieces from the collections of leading Ukrainian museums. The exhibition focuses on the 19th and 20th centuries—a period of intense cultural development, the formation of modern Ukrainian identity, and creative emancipation. It is complemented by selected medieval and baroque works, emphasizing the depth and continuity of the Ukrainian artistic tradition.

The "Treasures of Ukrainian Museums" exhibition in Paris will run until March 19.
