Anchor tenants begin renovation work at Ocean Mall shopping center in Kyiv

Anchor tenants have begun renovation work at the Ocean Mall shopping and entertainment center in Kyiv, according to the mall's operations director, Dmytro Lashyn.

"We are actively working inside the common areas. We have begun installing composite panels in the galleries and continue to install partitions between retail units. Some tenants, such as LeSilpo and Brocard, have already entered their premises and started renovation work," he wrote on LinkedIn.

As previously reported, Brocard plans to open a store of more than 1,000 square meters in the mall, while Silpo plans a space of up to 5,000 square meters.

Ocean Mall is a retail resort–format shopping center. Its total area is 300,000 square meters, with parking for 4,000 vehicles. The mall will bring together 800 stores and 50 restaurants. Among the largest tenants are the Silpo grocery supermarket and flagship stores of the world's largest retailers in the fashion, sports, and home goods segments. More than 30,000 square meters of Ocean Mall are designated for entertainment, including the Galaxy family entertainment park and a seven-screen multiplex cinema.
