Delegation of Norwegian Red Cross familiarizes itself with activities of URCS regional organizations
A delegation from the Norwegian Red Cross, led by Secretary General Grete Herlofsen, has familiarized itself with the activities of the regional organizations of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS).
"During the visit to Ukraine, representatives of the Norwegian Red Cross learned about the activities of the Ukrainian Red Cross regional organizations and the implementation of humanitarian programs in various regions of Ukraine—specifically in the areas of rehabilitation, home care, mental health support, the work of mobile medical teams, and the activities of emergency response units, including emergency response," the URCS reported on Facebook on Friday.
During meetings with URCS teams on the ground, the Norwegian colleagues discussed the current needs of communities and future directions for cooperation. Particular attention was focused on supporting veterans, elderly people, internally displaced persons, and communities affected by the war with Russia.
